Enoch, Methuselah’s father was 65 when Methuselah was born. Therefore, Methuselah lived to the age of 187 when his son Lamech was born; he lived after the birth of Lamech until the age of 969. Methuselah is the longest living man in the recorded history of the world; no other known man lived longer than he did.
After the ascension of his father, Enoch, the people of the land anointed Methuselah to rule over them, so he taught them just like his father. However, in his later days, the people began to turn from Yahvah, and would not listen to the voice of Methuselah. Therefore, Yahvah planned to destroy them from off the earth because of their wicked ways, which is known as The Flood, and it was in the year of The Flood that Methuselah died.

Edna is only mentioned in Jubilees 4:27, as Methuselah’s wife and cousin.
