His name in Hebrew is: מהללאל Mahălal’êl (mah-hal-al-ale’), Strongs #4111; praise of Elohim.  In Greek: Μαλελεήλ Malĕlĕēl (mal-el-eh-ale’), Strongs #3121.

In Jasher, he is known as Mahlallel and in Jubilees, his name is spelled as Malalel.

Cainan, Mahalaleel’s father was 70 when Mahalaleel was born.  Therefore, Mahalaleel lived to the age of 65 before he had his first son Jared.  Then, after the birth of his son, Mahalaleel lived to the age of 895.

Notes for Sina:

Sina is only mentioned in Jubilees 4:15.

It is not really known on how Sina is related to Mahalaleel.  Could she be a cousin through Mahalaleel’s uncle?  Or, could Sina’s father Barakhel be Mahalaleel’s cousin?
