Notes for Huz:

His name in Hebrew is: ץוע `Ûwts (oots) Strongs #5780; consultation.

Huz is only mentioned in Genesis 22:21 and Jasher 22:17, 20.  However, he is known as Uz in Jasher.

 

The five children of Huz are:

Mentioned in Jasher 22:20, also known as Abichorof in Jasher 31:54.

Abi (Abichorof) helped Laban pursue after Jacob when Jacob left Laban without saying anything about his departure.

Mentioned in Jasher 22:20.  She is also a nurse to Rebekah her cousin.  (1)

Buried at Bethel under an oak tree.  The place became to be called Allonbachuth. (2)  Not too long after her death, Rebekah died at the age of 133, so Deborah must have been a little older than Rebekah at her death if she was to be her nurse.

She is only mentioned as a nurse to Rebekah in Genesis 24:59.
