I have been interested in genealogy ever since the age of 14 when I began studying my own ancestry. Before that time history really was not my favorite subject, but when I saw that a few of my ancestors fought in the Civil War and the Revolutionary War, my dislikes for history soon changed. Those boring names and dates that are commonly used in history soon became known to me as people and events because my ancestors have paralleled American history.

In my personal genealogy my goal was to trace my lineage back into the Bible, but I found it to be a little difficult. Then an idea came to me that I should start at the other end and work to the present. Therefore, in 2003 I began working at putting together a Biblical Genealogy starting at the very beginning of Creation combining several books together to widen the spectrum of Biblical history.

The books you will find which is used in this study is the Bible, the First and Second books of Adam and Eve, the Book of Jasher, the Book of Jubilees, and the Strongs Concordance. The further I go into the Biblical history, there will be more books that I will be using to study from.

You may notice that I am not using the 4004 BC theory of when Adam was created, but a later date of 3901 BC. The reason of that is because Jasher 8:1 - 2 mentions a great star swallowing up four other stars in the eastern sky at the time of Abraham’s birth.

If an astronomical event took place like this, then it could be researched on some computer program that would show this event. After some months of trying to figure out what this great star was, I looked up on the Internet, “The Birth of Abraham” and found the answer I had been looking for.

This astronomical event took place on February 22nd through the 25th of 1953 BC when Venus (being the brightest object in the nighttime sky next to the moon) went into conjunction with Jupiter, Mars, Saturn and Mercury. Venus in its brightness appeared to swallow up the other planets.

Counting backwards from Abraham’s birth to Adam, I have calculated Adam’s creation to be at 3901 BC.
